Ok. Here’s the thing. I’m a little late. It’s closer to 7 months now than 6, but after reviewing the aluminum at launch, checking out the gold steel and Nike+ a couple of weeks in, and following up with the Hermès some 2 months after, I got delayed slightly by some new iPads, AirPods, and, yeah, services.
But, I’ve been able to use the extra time to collect extra information, and from people beyond my own personal use cases and, frankly, the typical tech-sphere considerations.
I’ve also got to use the latest watchOS update, which adds ECG to Hong Kong and 19 countries across Europe, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Also, and more applicable to me, some new watch face variations for Nike and Hermes, and AirPods 2 support, which makes a great pairing even better. Like, I don’t know dark chocolate and crunchy peanut butter?
There are also new watch bands for the spring. This year’s collection includes new sport loops, new sport bands, new Hermès straps, new almost everything.
Let’s take a look at all of that!

Weirdest pronunciation of Hermès I’ve ever heard.
I’ve noticed that mine has significantly slowed down, sometimes it takes up to 10 seconds to load things like music, and sometimes Siri flat out doesn’t work. I’ve found that even when it’s connected to my phone, and I ask it to dim lights in my house, it will just say ‘Siri couldn’t connect to the internet,’ hopefully it gets better I guess
My Siri works to yell on my watch, to the point where its active and listening when I don't want it to be. Meanwhile Siri on my phone has gotten worse.
I love the Apple Watch as a smartwatch, but it sure ain't no sports watch. For those who want a real sports watch tool, you'll have to go Garmin, Suunto or Polar. Sorry Apple watch, but you're no bueno for anyone that's interested in more than just the distance, pace and time during a run.
I borrowed my girlfriends Apple Watch series 4 for a few weeks and I liked being able to talk to Siri without having to say Hey Siri. It worked most of the time but there were a few times where I had to retry. It takes a little practice to get used to just the right amount of raise and turn of the wrist, but for the most part it’s effortless and convenient.
Ha! This video was posted just as my new Series 4 was being delivered. I’m wearing it now, and looking forward to digging in. Already, I really love the larger screen with less bezels. I dig the Series 3, my first, but wow the Series 4 is faster. Thanks for this informative video; keep up the good work!
Love the videos, currently my favorite tech YouTuber ??
And I forgot to say your video was 100% on point!!!!
I love your videos a lot and how you explain stuff very easily for me to understand
And people that complain about sleep tracking not on the watch really bugs me!!!! Get auto sleep app It only uses 5% of your battery every night so I don’t see what the big complaint is that people complain about the battery not working for sleep tracking
I have the same problem with raise to talk I hope there is a software update to fix this issue! But I still love my series 4 aluminum 44 MM! Never never never leave home without it
Rage commenters should be blocked.
How much you got paid from apple for doing this biased review
I absolutely love my Apple Watch Series 4! I upgraded last year from series 0 which was overdue for an upgrade and omg i was so happy I was able to once again have some use for my Apple Watch since series 0 was already so slow I couldn’t even text back to someone fast enough ??♂️.. Apple watch series 4 is an awesome upgrade it’s fast and more powerful .. don’t really see myself upgrading for another 4 yrs.
Congrats in advance on 100k subs. ??
I enjoy watching your videos but never post a comment. There has never been any reason to. The only issue I have with the Apple Watch is that for some strange reason the messages on iCloud don’t sync properly and are not deleted from the watch when I delete those on my iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Those messages just stay on the watch and have to be deleted manually. Am I the only person whose Watch acts like this? If no, then it’s a serious problem that needs to talked about on platforms like this.
Yah you really felled
Sorry to hear your bows to the internets negativity. I have always enjoyed your content and continue to do so. I always learn something!
Nice 'bump' at 1:17 and 11:19
i don't know why i feel like you are not real .. i feel like you are just working for apple or i guess they pay you too for this ..lol
I experience the same with siri when I raise my arm to give it a command. Because its so unreliable I have disabled the feature because I have also a couple of times experienced where it turned on siri by a mistake.
