We’ve got the Fossil Gen 5 in house! We are your resident weird Wear OS fan and so this was a must pick-up. At Rs 22995, you get a Snapdragon Wear 3100, GPS, NFC, full-round display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, heartrate sensor, and speaker. It’s kind of got it all for a Wear OS watch at the moment.

Far as performance goes, the Fossil Gen 5 is one of the greatest I’ve reviewed in 2019 and beyond. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform keeps Wear OS running beautifully, although sadly the battery life isn’t quite as strong. Even with the new Extended mode on offer, you won’t make it through two full days – and that’s with an awful lot of feature culling
The Fossil Gen 5 costs 279 in the UK, which is comparable to the Apple Watch and other premium devices, and works with Android or iOS. So far I’m enjoying the sleek and relatively slender design, as well as the fully-featured functionality. You can use the Google Assistant phone-free thanks to the mic and speaker, while the 1.3-inch AMOLED screen is crisp and colorful fossil gen 5.
