Hey man, awesome review! When you say about the lack of Connect IQ, you're not able to configure all the settings through the app?
Can you see total calories burned for the day and per workout on the watch itself?
Can it sync to strava?
It doesn't connect to the Connect App. Garmin seriously WTF.
I found the Felix five sapphire glass for 100 dollars more is it worth spending the extra money for the fenix or should I get the instinct I just want it for mtb, running and hiking which is better
Great video , can you make 1 on Polar Ignite Please and Thank you.
Does this watch provide real time elevation?
Your tattoo is hella dope
Does it have golf activity ?
Any updates on the altimeter? Wondering if it's reading more accurate now then at the time of recording
You packed a very detailed comprehensive review in 12 minutes and made it very easy to understand. I really appreciate it!
Does anyone knows if this watch has MGRS ( military coordinates)
Dude, Do I need a speed sensor for the indoor cycling activity to measure speed? Also where do we customize the wheel size in this?
Wow, this is the best review I have ever seen! Like and subscribed.
This seems perfect for me I believe, I do alot of running and also alot of backpacking/hiking. Definitely recommend over the FR235 I'm torn between a few different devices. Thanks again!
Is there a setting for raquetball ??
Now that you have gotten 5 months to play with it, has Garmin fixed some of your complaints with software updates?
A lot of info. Never mentioned price.
Hey. I am just confused bw Vivoactive 3 and this one
When you constantly try to giggle while talking is really annoying and distracting.
Very good review. Thank you, it´s hard to get this kind of information here in Brazil
Excelente vídeo.
Muchas gracias por compartirlo.
Por favor, podría decirme si el reloj tiene backlight para verlo de noche?
Quedo muy atento y gracias.
question, between garmin epix, garmin instinct and suunto traverse, which one is better for trekking, bike, or hiking?
Hi, do u think Garmin Instict is suitable to wear for Obstacles Race (Spartan Race)? Thanks!
Great review!!!
Does it have electro luminescence?
Fantastic review. Thank you.
Great review. Thanks for starting to look at the swimming side of things. Is the open water swimming gps tracked as well?
off to the nearest Garmin store…
Thanks (mostly) to this review, I took the plunge and bought an Instinct to replace my soon-to-be-obsolete Suunto Traverse (long story…) a few months back. I'm happy to say it has not disappointed. Thanks Des for giving me an idea of what the device was really like; you were spot on with pretty much everything, and after about 6 months of rocking it, I can safely say the Instinct has my personal seal of approval! 🙂
So there is no way of getting any stats from the watch to a phone?
Been trying to find a decent watch that tracks sleep and steps properly and I have to say I've seen a lot of videos and I'm still confused.
this one or the samsung active are on the top of the list though
Did I see that right does it have a compass ?
How was the screen brightness in sunlight?
I'll stick to my g shocks
Wow – square display on round face… What a fail. So basically it's Fenix 2 rehashed?
How accurate was the temperature reading? Kinda have to rely on it for work and hiking.
How do you access those gps tracks you're looking at at 7:20?
Hi, desfit.
I bought an instinct two weeks ago, but like your video, the altimeter has problems. I practice enduro mountainbike, and I bought the instinct for the shock resistance and because it is the only cheap model with altimeter. you recommend me to change it for an edge 130? What other clock do you think you can use to practice mtb?
Thanks in advance
Another great review!
Great review, thank you. I've been hesitating for over 6 months while my Forerunner 25 is dying. This clinches it!
So even though it doesn’t have connect iq, it still works with the Garmin connect app right? Just can’t take 3rd party watch faces and things like that? Do I understand that correctly?
