Montblanc Summit 2 Android Wear Smartwatch Review
Lisa Gade reviews the Montblanc Summit 2 luxury smartwatch running Android Wear OS 2.1. This is a relatively rare pairing of smartwatch and high end timepiece, and the $995 watch is made of stainless steel with a calfskin band. There are additional band options and a titanium model available. The watch has a 42mm round OLED display (327 PPI), the new and significantly faster Snapdragon Wear 3100 CPU, GPS, NFC with Google Pay, WiFi and Bluetooth. It’s water resistant to 50 meters and has a 340 mAh battery. It uses 22mm interchangeable bands. Our review loaner was supplied by Timeless Luxury Watches .

Still waiting for Omega to make a Seamasters aqua terra smart watch in 18k rose gold to replace my current analogue one. Mont Blanc is not really taste. Also if you are to drop all that money on a time peace I believe better CPUs are needed so they can last longer.
Great review by a REAL reviewer. I love you
how to use sim
How does that "time only" mode 0:52 look like? Is it a normal clock face or is it monochromatic (to save power) or something else? I wish you had shown or described it.
Anyway, nice video, thumbs up.
Good review. I use and love my Moto 360 2. I previously had the Moto 1. I love the fact that they have a round face and they look like the traditional watch. Personally I don't get the Apple watch square thing. . . I'd not spend USD1,000 on any watch, certainly not a fancy version of the Moto 2. But then I only use a 10 dollar pen. . . .
Nice looking classy watch… but doesn't look all than much better than my 3 yr old Huawei Watch!
$1000 and they don’t even offer an Lte one? That’s ridiculous, apples is less than half this price and it comes with lte service and people complain it’s too expensive lol, android stuff is just as expensive if not more expensive lol
Another thing android copied from apple and failed.
NEW SPECTRE REVIEW
NEW SPECTRE REVIEW
The snapdragon 2100 is also equipped with a quad core cpu, 4x cortex a7 @ 1.2ghz, exactly the same as the snapdragon 3100. The difference is that the 3100 is equipped with a low power co-processor that should increase the battery life. In terms of performance the snapdragon 2100 is just as fast/slow as the 3100.
Hey Lisa, will you be doing a review of the new HP spectre gem cut? There's a new blue color and i've been dying to see it but there arent really any videos on it since its new!
Lisa,
Please look into reviewing the acer aspire 7 with 8750h and gtx 1060. For under 1000 this is a very good laptop that I haven't seen any reviews for.
android wear almost look like conventional wrist watches
4:12–4:18 Just one correction: the base is not wireless, there are four pins for the charging.
Hi Lisa! Will you review the new Dell Inspiron 7000 line up? Does it suffer from throttling like the XPS line?
Damn, are Android Watch makers simply incapable of making a watch that DOESN’T look like a tuna can on your wrist? Android Watches are THICC.
Great review but how does it work with iPhones? I heard Android Wear doesn’t play nicely.
Looks good
I was hoping you would review this!
Nice job Lisa!
I love how the watch face resembles an analog watch more precisely than my Gear S3 does. To me an Apple watch looks like something you would get out of a gumball machine when you were a kid.
Hear price -> change video
Why don't you do samsung stuff anymore like the tab s4 or the galaxy watch?
They still make stuff that last a day, max two – I want phones and watches that last a week, darn it
good review..but im sticking with my 50 buck garmin fit…battery is still going after one year
For that much money, it should do the laundry.
So, does it have a speaker to allow you to talk on the wrist with your phone in your pocket? Kinda like the Huawei watch (version 1). Not for music, just voice?
This watch is gonna look great with my Montblanc pen when I'm signing my divorce papers
Great review as always Lisa. Good to hear you & Dan were able to work out the details for this review.
As for anyone that thinks this is over priced, to each their own as it's not for everyone. But keep in mind the price is comparable to the Apple Watch Series 4 (stainless steel model) since you won't pay anything close to full retail for the Montbanc @ Timeless Luxury Watches.
i like you and your reviews, but when u showed other types of bands, you could've maybe shown at least one that isn't made out of leather, since i and probably a lot of people dont like wearing the skin of killed animals that feel pain just as much as our cats and dogs. but apart from that, very high standard of a review.
$995 for a montblanc? That's a good deal. I own a couple of Montblanc belts, wallets, and most definitely pens. I wouldn't mind buying this at all.
I would rather spend the 1000 on a Montblanc pen 🙂
I'm curious about your opinion on the Amazfit smartwatches!
Thanks for the video, You just don't see many high end smart watch reviews.
