This P3 wristband is the latest device to appear blending ECG technology with PPG optical heart rate measurements to produce an integrated value for blood biometrics like pulse and blood pressure. Using a different tethering app than the previous ECG+PPG units, we see the heart wave information presented without the tagged descriptive information expected. Unfortunately, this MeCare app is not as polished as it could be, and it is not easy to export the data collected. Have a look at the review and youll see for yourself.
NOTE: For the serious health enthusiasts, heres a new health band offering unique new biometric measurements of skin humidity, proximity temperature, and the delta, or difference, between actual skin temperature and close proximity wrist temperature. The reason for this appears to be that, by monitoring the spread between your actual skin temperature and the close surrounding air temperature (not the ambient temperature, but the temperature near your body), the band can warn you when you are too hot or too cold and should take some action to change your body condition.
