This is the Xiaomi Amazfit Pace smartwatch review that is not available in India, but you can buy from international stores for under Rs. 8,000. This smartwatch comes with built in WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Compass.

The Amazfit box pack contains the smartwatch, data cable, dock for charging and user manual. Amazfit Pace features an always on display, works with iOS and Android platforms and is IP67 certified that makes it Splash resistant.

This is a smartwatch cum fitness device, that can monitor your steps, calories burned, sleep, heart rate, pace and the unique thing is that it can also help prepare you for a marathon. This watch can also be used to play music directly from the watch internal storage – there is 4GB storage, you can save music files on the smartwatch and play it via Bluetooth headset directly without using your smartphone, so this watch can also be used like a portable music player.

Features

Apart from monitoring the steps, sleep, calories, pace, distance this watch can also continuously track your heart rate, but better to switch that off as it will drain a lot of battery juice. When you choose any sports (exercise) mode heart rate will be checked continuously during the session.

Marathon training

There is a special option in the menu that will help you prepare for Marathon, you can choose the level from beginner to expert. The training will run for several days, you need to follow the instructions (check video review).

Notifications

This watch give call alerts (you get the caller name) and also notifications from almost all apps installed on your smartphone. You can disable / enable notifications for specific apps as needed.

Amazfit Battery Performance

There is 280 mAh non-removable battery that takes up to 3 hours to charge and on a full charge you will get around 5 days of battery life (continuous heart rate off / 30 minutes walk (sports mode) per day).

Verdict

The best thing about this smartwatch is the always on display and the battery life that last for up to 5 days. Another unique thing is the Marathon training mode, simply awesome. This watch gives consistent results and gets more accurate with GPS. There is a lot this watch can do, and is specially made for those who want to lead a fit life / want to get fit.
