Here you are: another movie called my girl and uh you’re playing a co starring role with anna klumsky yeah. How old are you now on the left? We talked once before when you did home alone and uh you’re? Are you now doing home alone too or you’re? Getting ready to i’m going to do home alone too this december, starting in december, yeah, yeah and uh. Is it going to be more of the same kind of thing or different story entirely? I’M, not sure? Yet i haven’t read the script i’m, not even sure the script’s done, oh, but you’re. Looking forward to doing it are you yeah, okay, my girl, different kind of role, for you certainly different from home alone? Did you have any say so about whether or not you would do the role or you? Let other people decide that um? Well, i have a little bit but it’s mostly up to my mom and dad yeah, but when you found out about the movie and the role you’d play and everything you said: okay or yeah, why not uh? Is there any kind of role that, where you just say no, i don’t want to do that. No, not really i’m. Really! You know. I really want to do like almost anything and you don’t care how different or yeah i don’t care.
One nice thing about this: one: at least you weren’t out in the cold. Were you no one? One day um during home alone, there was like um, it was like 80 degrees and they had to put down snow, so they kept on putting on layers. I mean it was bad, but also in home alone, you were working in the wintertime weren’t you, oh yeah, yeah cause. You told me that your hands got so cold. Oh yeah, my hands got back, but in my girl you made most of it in florida. Um yeah, i made most of it in florida, so it was really nice and warm. What did you do when you weren’t making the movie in florida go to the beach or what um i’d be well? I had to get tutoring um most days and um really um i’d just be like riding the bike around the neighborhood and stuff. Like that. What about the kissing scene mccauley? Did you enjoy doing that? Well, it was a dish i don’t know Laughter when they told you that that was in there. What was your reaction? Whoa? Oh man, why are you doing this? You weren’t too charged up about it? No, no exactly but uh being the actor that you are. You suffered for your art, as that is yeah. Okay. What was the most fun about doing my girl of all the scenes? Is there one you might have enjoyed? Well, i liked all of them to do.
You know it was all fun. What about the bees were there? Actually bees swarming around you and that one yeah that was real bees? They kept on throwing them in every time, so that’s why it looks like there’s a lot of bees because they like take buckets and start throwing them in. So were you protected at all from that? Well, um. The um trainer said you’re fine, because they’re only going after your fingers because they put pollen on each finger, so every time i’d swing. They go after my fingers, so that’s how it ended up all around. So they said, you’ll be fine, because they’re only going for your fingers, but they could sting the fingers just as well. I know, but they’re just saying they just want to. You know, go on to the fingertips, so you didn’t get stung. I got scratched by a stinger here: what’d they do about that. It was only a little scratch, so it was fine yeah, so um aren’t you going to do another movie after home alone. Did i read that someplace yeah well um i’m, going to do the good sign afterwards and what is that um it’s, a movie it’s a movie, but i mean comedy or drama or um i’m, not sure. Yet i really haven’t read the script. My girl deals with the subject of death. Was that anything that you’d ever experienced like any of your friends or anyone in your family? No, so how did you prepare for that or what did your mom and dad tell it’s? Just acting, you know, it’s acting and you know i’m.
