Connects to Android phones using an app, Hero Band 3 which it then pairs with the watch via bluetooth. It does not (you cannot it says in the manual) connect directly via bluetooth for Android. Can be paired with Apple too (thinking that would need the app too).

Pedometer
Calories burned tracker
Tracks distance for swimming too- huge plus for me!
Vital signs monitoring i.e. heart rate, blood pressure and blood oxygen %. Fairly accurate. Sometimes completely off.
