Unboxing and Packaging

Today we have a new watch from AliExpress, the HK95 Smartwatch. It arrived in simple packaging, nothing fancy. The box contains the watch itself, a spare wristband, and a magnetic charging cable. The first impression is that the watch looks sleek and stylish, with a leather-like back that offers good grip.

Initial Setup

Upon opening the box, I found the instructions to be quite small and hard to read. However, there is one side in English and another side in Chinese. The setup process seems pretty straightforward. After removing the protective films on the sensors and screen, I connected the magnetic charging cable to the back of the watch to start charging.

Features and Functionality

The HK95 Smartwatch boasts a range of features that make it a worthy competitor to the Apple Watch. One of the standout features is the Bluetooth calling capability, which allows you to make and answer calls directly from your wrist. This is a convenient feature, especially when you’re on the go and don’t want to reach for your phone every time it rings.

In addition to Bluetooth calling, the watch also offers fitness tracking functionalities. It can track your steps, monitor your heart rate, and even track your sleep patterns. These features are invaluable for those who prioritize their health and fitness and want to keep a close eye on their progress.

Performance and Battery Life

After fully charging the watch, I wore it for several days to test its performance and battery life. The interface is user-friendly, with a touch screen that responds well to commands. Navigating through the menus and apps feels smooth and intuitive.

As for battery life, the watch lasted for around a week with moderate usage. This is impressive compared to other smartwatches in its price range. However, battery life may vary depending on individual usage patterns and settings.

Settings and Features

If we go back into settings, you’ll see a lot of other settings. Uh brightness language theme. There are different themes. You can have it more like an apple watch theme with icons. I, like the list, uh views like this, so I can read everything and not have to interpret uh icons.

There is lets see if we go into general settings theres one. I want to mention here heres, where you would toggle on and off, uh lift your wrist to turn the display on. I always turn that off again to save battery life. I dont have a problem pressing the button to make it light up to read the time when I want to theres a do not disturb mode. You can set a password screen. Saver here is not intuitive at all.

What happens when you turn that on is when your watch face times out, then it will go on to an always on display, and I will let that happen later in this video. So you can see what that looks like, but its kind of misnamed. In my opinion, but its a really cool feature. You can have an always on display kind of a swept hand clock. So you can just always look to see what time it is. You can reboot, you can do a factory reset all right lots of stuff in there.

Messaging and Health Monitoring

If we swipe down, you can get your messages. This works, Ive tested it numerous times and if we swipe from right to left here is your uh heart rate, continuous heart rate heres, your activity, meter where it will, you know, give you your activity, your steps and uh and whatnot heres spo2 Ill flip this over.

The messaging feature on the HK95 Smartwatch functions well, allowing users to receive and view messages directly on the watch. Additionally, the heart rate monitoring feature is accurate and provides continuous heart rate readings. The watch also includes an activity meter that tracks your steps and overall activity levels.

Design and Display

The HK95 Smartwatch closely resembles the design of the Apple Watch, with a sleek and modern aesthetic. The display can be customized with different themes, allowing users to choose between an Apple Watch-inspired layout or a more traditional list view. The brightness settings can also be adjusted to suit individual preferences.

Battery Life and Additional Features

The watch offers a do not disturb mode, password screen saver, and the option to toggle on or off the lift wrist feature. By disabling the lift wrist feature, users can preserve battery life. The HK95 Smartwatch also includes an always-on display, which shows a swept hand clock when the watch is inactive. This feature is particularly convenient for quickly checking the time without having to activate the full display.

In addition to these features, users can reboot the watch and perform a factory reset if needed. With an array of settings and functions, the watch provides a comprehensive user experience.

Sleep Tracking and Weather Features

The HK95 Smartwatch offers a range of features that are often only found in higher-end budget watches. One notable feature is sleep tracking, which allows you to monitor your sleep patterns. With this watch, you can easily swipe up to view the time you fell asleep and the time you woke up. Additionally, the watch pulls weather information from your phone via Bluetooth, giving you access to today’s weather and a forecast for the next 7 days.

This watch comes equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing you to make calls directly from your wrist. This feature provides a convenient and hands-free way to stay connected while on the go. Considering the affordable price of the watch, the Bluetooth calling capability alone makes it a worthwhile investment.

HK95 Smartwatch Blood Pressure

The HK95 Smartwatch offers the ability to measure blood pressure in real time. However, it’s important to note that this feature does not automatically measure blood pressure at regular intervals. Instead, you have to manually come to the screen and press a button to take the measurement.

Use as a Baseline

While the HK95 Smartwatch may not be a medical device, it can still be useful for monitoring your blood pressure. I would recommend taking a baseline reading or multiple readings to establish a reference point. If the readings deviate significantly, it might be wise to consult a medical professional for a more accurate assessment.

Other Features

In addition to blood pressure monitoring, the HK95 Smartwatch comes with a range of other features. It includes a spo2 sensor to measure blood oxygen saturation. There is also a stress measurement feature, stopwatch, contacts for easy access, and notification alerts for messages and calls.

Multi-Functional Smartwatch

The HK95 Smartwatch offers more than just health monitoring capabilities. It allows you to control music on your phone when it is tethered via Bluetooth. You can use it as a timer and even find your phone if you misplace it. Surprisingly, it even comes with a built-in game for entertainment. Furthermore, you can access your calendar and utilize the built-in calculator for convenience.

Screen Saver Mode and AI Voice Feature

One interesting feature of the HK95 Smartwatch is the screen saver mode. Users can set it to stay on live for a specified amount of time. This allows for efficient battery usage while still providing quick access to the watch’s functions.

However, there is an AI voice feature that remains a bit perplexing. The exact workings and functionality are still unclear, and I haven’t been able to fully figure it out yet. Despite this, it adds an air of curiosity and exploration to the smartwatch.

The HK95 Smartwatch offers a variety of features, including the ability to measure blood pressure. While it may not be as accurate as a dedicated medical device, it can serve as a useful tool for monitoring trends and taking baseline readings. The additional features such as spo2 measurement, stress measurement, and various other functions make it a versatile and intriguing smartwatch option.

App Interface

The HK95 smartwatch comes with an app called Coofit. While I have never seen this app before, I must admit that it has a pretty good interface. It allows you to track your steps throughout the day and provides a progress bar for calorie burn. You can also view the estimate of the distance you have walked in miles.

Screen Saver Mode

Once the screen of the smartwatch times out, it goes into screen saver mode, displaying a clock. This feature can be easily accessed by going back to the Pointer dial. This screen saver mode adds a touch of elegance to the HK95 smartwatch and makes it visually appealing.

Sports Activities

The smartwatch app offers a range of sports activities that you can track. For instance, during a weight training session at the gym, it provides you with details such as average heart rate and maximum heart rate. It also displays the time spent in different heart rate zones, which can be helpful for monitoring your workout intensity.

M Sports Record

The M Sports Record feature allows you to keep track of various outdoor activities. For example, if you recently went on a hike, the smartwatch app records details such as time, continuous heart rate, pace, step frequency, and speed. It offers a comprehensive set of information that can help you analyze and improve your performance.

Summary

Overall, the HK95 smartwatch impresses with its Coofit app, which has a user-friendly interface and offers a range of tracking features. The screen saver mode adds an elegant touch to the watch, and the sports activities and M Sports Record features make it suitable for fitness enthusiasts. Whether you want to track your daily steps, monitor your heart rate during workouts, or record your outdoor activities, the HK95 smartwatch has got you covered.

Accuracy of GPS and Fitness Tracking

The HK95 smartwatch claims to be a Bluetooth calling Apple Watch clone, and I must say, in terms of accuracy, it does come pretty close. During a recent hike, I decided to put it to the test by not tethering it to my phone and relying solely on its GPS capabilities. Surprisingly, the watch showed that I had hiked approximately 6.95 miles, which was only slightly higher than my separate GPS watch’s reading. Considering that the HK95 was only guessing based on the number of steps I took, this level of accuracy is quite impressive.

Comprehensive Fitness Metrics

One of the standout features of the HK95 smartwatch is its ability to provide a wealth of fitness information. Whether it’s tracking your kilo calorie burn, average heart rate, speed, or average pace, this watch has got you covered. It even keeps a record of all your fitness data, allowing you to refer back to it whenever you want. For those who engage in gym workouts, the watch showcases your maximum and average heart rate, as well as your kilo calorie burn, providing useful insights into your performance.

Continuous Heart Rate Monitoring

Monitoring your heart rate is an essential aspect of any smartwatch, and the HK95 excels in this area. With its continuous heart rate tracking feature, you can scroll back over the days and see how your heart rate fluctuated during different activities. Whether you want to know your minimum, highest, or average heart rate, this watch has it all covered. As someone who tracks their minimum heart rate during sleep, I can confidently say that the HK95’s readings align closely with what I usually observe (around 52 to 54 bpm).

Blood Pressure Measurements

However, when it comes to blood pressure measurements, I would advise taking the readings with a grain of salt. The HK95 smartwatch does offer the capability to measure blood pressure, but I find it difficult to trust the accuracy of these readings. Unlike automatic devices, this watch requires manual interaction to obtain blood pressure measurements. While it does provide a history of your measurements over the week or month, I believe it’s best to consult a medical professional for accurate blood pressure readings.

The HK95 smartwatch impresses with its accurate GPS capabilities and comprehensive fitness tracking metrics. Its continuous heart rate monitoring feature is reliable, but caution should be exercised when relying on its blood pressure measurements. Overall, this watch proves to be a worthy contender in the realm of Bluetooth calling Apple Watch clones, offering a range of features that cater to fitness enthusiasts.

Sleep Tracking

One of the features of the HK95 Smartwatch is its sleep tracking functionality. It provides information on the time spent in deep sleep, light sleep, and awake time. Although there seems to be a slight issue when using it on camera, overall, it performs quite well.

Stress Monitor

The smartwatch also comes with a stress monitoring feature. However, it is important to note that these measurements are manual, meaning you have to actively choose to take them. Once you do, it will indicate the level of stress you are experiencing and whether it falls within a normal range or not.

Watch Face Galleries

If you want to change the appearance of your smartwatch, you can browse through the watch face galleries. There are plenty of options to choose from, ensuring that you can find one that suits your taste and preferences. Personally, I have found one that I really like and have been using it consistently.

Tethering and Location Services

In order to connect your smartwatch to your phone, you will need to use tethering and location services. This allows for a more accurate GPS tracking experience. However, it is important to note that despite this feature, the watch itself does not have built-in GPS. Instead, it relies on the location services of your phone.

Additional Customization

Aside from the aforementioned features, the HK95 Smartwatch offers a range of additional customization options. These include anti-lost reminders, do not disturb mode, sedentary reminders, and the ability to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius for temperature units. You can also customize the date format, vibration settings, backlight preferences, and enable the raise-to-wake feature.

Personal Settings

For a more tailored experience, you can access the personal settings on the smartwatch. This allows you to further modify and customize various aspects of the device according to your personal preferences. Whether it’s firmware updates or other personalization options, the HK95 Smartwatch provides a multitude of choices.

Design and Display

The HK95 Smartwatch boasts a well-laid out app interface that is easy to navigate. The watch itself features a backlit display that can be set to an always-on mode, allowing you to have a clock on your wrist at all times. This is a convenient feature for those who prefer to check the time without having to press any buttons. By simply pressing the watch, the screen illuminates, giving you access to various settings. One of these settings includes the option to turn off the screen saver, resulting in a sleek black display when the watch is not in use.

Functionality and Features

Priced at an affordable $30 or less, the HK95 Smartwatch offers exceptional value for its price point. The watch comes equipped with familiar buttons on the side and a functional top Crown on the main screen. The Crown allows users to scroll through a range of watch faces, enabling personalization to suit individual preferences. Although the measurement cannot be demonstrated without wearing the watch, its inclusion adds to the overall functionality of this device.

It boasts a minimalist design with a rectangular touchscreen display and a single button on the side. The strap is made of high-quality materials, providing a comfortable fit for extended wear.
