Let’s find out thanks for watching the technology. So let’s talk about this wise watch. I have been waiting quite a long time for this pre order to get here, apparently wise, ran into some production delays. Quality control issues took a while to sort those out if anybody else was on the pre order list and i’m sure that you got all those emails as well. Referring to you know, problems with the the the case and all you know things like that and then trying to get all that sorted out, which i’m, which i’m glad that they at least are trying not to release products with problems that they know are problems. So hopefully again they got everything right, but with with most inexpensive products, i think it’s going to be the long term. Use that’s really going to show us how good that quality really is now before we get started, go ahead and subscribe like and share this video and please feel free to leave a comment below so. First of all, even though it’s already out of the box let’s, do a quick, unboxing and see what you get in the box Music Applause. So this is a smart watch that boasts a small price with hopefully big features. It has an aluminum alloy frame, a 1.75 inch display heart rate and blood oxygen, sensors, fitness tracking water resistance to 2 meters and claims to have a nine day battery life all for twenty dollars.

It comes in two sizes, 47 and 44 millimeter today, i’m, going to be showing you the 47 and also show you a few comparisons to the apple watch 6 and 44, and this has gps and cellular so first impressions, the frame feels pretty solid. I think wise really focused on getting this part of the wise watch right. It does feel like a quality frame. Everything pretty much about the watch feels quality there’s a single button on the right hand, side of the watch that controls access to the menus. The watch strap well, it is cheap, but it does work it’s very similar to the band that comes with the wise band. It does feel better than the bands that come on the 10 armatron and casio watches it’s, not as soft as the apple band, but definitely not as hard as you’re going to find on most cheap watches. The case is a little bit thicker than i think i’m. Going to lock but we’ll see how it feels over time and overall, i am pleasantly surprised at the initial quality and how this watch feels for just twenty dollars. Of course i wanted to rush and get this video out as quickly as possible, because i know there’s lots of videos out on this watch, but i wanted to actually give it several days of use before making the video. So i could really see how well it worked, because when i first got the watch – and i did a little research and read some forums – read lots of posts from new wisewatch owners about issues they were having.

And so i wanted to give it some time and see what my real experience was going to be like, especially wearing it around the clock and seeing how close to those nine days that i can that i can get out of it. Now, before we get into talking about, if this 20 watch can really compete with a watch that’s 25 times its price let’s talk about what most people actually are going to use a watch for and why it’s even worth, comparing these two watches that are such extreme Differences and price points, i think, it’s fair, to say that most of us use our smart watches for notifications and fitness tracking. I do use mine to send quick responses to text messages and reject calls that i don’t want to take at that time and that’s, probably about 95 of the use, and i would imagine that’s the same for for most people that have a watch. I have the cellular model of the apple watch six. So on occasion i do leave my phone in the car or in the house when i’m running somewhere running an errand or, like i said, getting out of a car and just running in a store, but it’s still rare that i do that. So the cell function is probably something that i could have done without and save some money on, both the watch and the monthly bill now i’m sure there are those that use the cell function, gps functions more than i do.

Those are just things: i’ve found that i really could live without and, of course, at twenty dollars, the wise watch isn’t going to have its own cell service or gps. Definitely not at this price. The thing that interests me the most about this watch other than the price is the nine days of claimed battery life, so we’ll see if we can manage to do it because you know with the apple watch, if you really want to do any kind of sleep Tracking with the apple watch you can’t wear it 24. 7.. You have to take it off in the evening before going to bed charge it up and put it back on. Then, when you wake up in the morning, you got to take it off, put it on the charger so that you’re going to have enough battery to last the day, that’s, really the biggest downside to an apple watch battery life on a watch this expensive, i think, Should be a little bit better, so all that being said, i think it’s at least fair, to look at some of the technical differences between the two and let you decide if you’re, okay, with giving up those higher end specs to get a 20 watch. I won’t get too much into the technical specs but i’m going to cover a few and the ones that have been most important to me so far and that’s let’s just start off with the display. Now the wise watch has a 1.

75 inch tft lcd with a resolution of 320 by 385 and 16 bit color. Now, if you look at the newest apple watches, you’re getting a 368 by 448 retina ltpo oled display at 1.78 inches. So, even though the wise watch is a little bigger, it has a little bit less screen. The apple watch just has the better display, of course, and the display on the wise watch is probably i mean it definitely is my biggest complaint, but more on more on that in a few, the wise watch has a 300 milliamp hour battery 16 megabytes of flash Memory and 512k of ram, which is also going to point to my other biggest crop you’re, not going to put much on this watch and by much i mean you can store three watch faces and that’s pretty much it. Those are the tech specs on the 47 millimeter and according to wise website, tech specs on the 44 are are slightly different, a little bit smaller battery, but smaller display a little bit different than the clock speeds of the cpu now that’s according to their specs. I you know no no way to verify that other than their faqs now as far as features that much more expensive apple watches have than the 20 wise watch well straight from the wise watch faqs. So, with this 20 wise watch compared to what you would get with an apple watch: there’s, no gps, no cell service, no nfc, no responding to text messages, no making or receiving phone calls no playing music; there’s, no speaker, no microphone, no wifi, no voice assistant compatibility, Which, on the voice assistant compatibility that’s a little bit disappointing, because the watch band that’s five dollars more than this does have alexa built in it does have microphones.

So it would have been really nice, since this is supposed to be a smart watch if they had at least included some of those voice. Assistant compatibility functions now that’s a lot of no’s, but what i think wise has done is kept the features that, like i said at the beginning, the features most of us use kind of like the way americans buy trucks. We all think we need a half ton or three quarter ton in case we have to haul 12 000 pounds someday, but in real life, the most that any of us are ever going to haul is a 12 foot. U haul not saying everyone just most and that i think, is what wise has done made an inexpensive watch for the most of us, knowing apple’s still going to sell more of the watch with all the bells and whistles. Just like you know, more people are going to buy an f 150 than are going to buy a ranger, even though they don’t need enough 150. that’s that’s. The way people are buying. These watches too they’re going to sell a whole lot more apple watches because everybody’s going to want the biggest and best, but again it’s, probably more than than most of us, are going to need. So looking at it. From that point of view, this watch should be great if it can deliver all of those necessities for 20 bucks, so let’s cover what my crops are so far with this watch now number one, as i mentioned before, it’s the display in bright sunlight.

I do have a little bit of a hard time seeing it and i have the brightness turned up all the way which i imagine is going to affect the battery life at least a little bit but that’s. What i need to really be able to see it in in bright, sunlight or outdoors i mean i can see it outdoors and there’s just some things about it that i have a hard time seeing now number two the display again so my close to 50 year Old eyes are a little far sided, so things up close aren’t super clear unless i’m, you know wearing some reading glasses. The screen resolution doesn’t help with that at all things are definitely, you know i can wear both these watches side by side and i can definitely see what’s on the screen of the apple watch. A lot clearer than i can what’s on the wise watch. So group number three did i mention the display. Yes, i know i’m complaining about a screen on a 20 dollar smart watch, but it is my biggest crop. A 47 millimeter bezel with a i mean it’s, really it’s got a big chin on it to have a 47 millimeter bezel and it that gives it less visible screen than the smaller apple watch. That’S 44 millimeters now number four grab, which is again it’s, it’s kind of on the same lines as being the display. But this is more of, i think, a function of the software they’re running and not a limitation it’s hard to see who messages or email are from the message itself is white lettering.

But the part that shows who it is from is a dark gray against an even darker gray background it’s, just difficult for me to read who a text message or an email who who those messages are from. I really have to really get down on focus to try to make out who it’s from i can’t just glance at it and say: oh well, i’ve got an email or text message from whoever you can’t just glance and see because of this it’s, just the colors That they’re, using the number five graph is going to be responsiveness. Scrolling messages is by no means smooth i’m just used to how fluid the apple watch is and on the wise watch. The scrolling is rather choppy but i’m sure that goes back to those earlier specs that we talked about with limited clock, speed, limited memory, it’s just it’s, just not processing as fast number. Six there’s, no way to dismiss a an individual notification. If you want to get rid of the notifications, you have to delete them all at one time number seven graph. They should at least put in quick responses for text messages and the ability to customize those from your phone number. Eight slow updates. When you change watch faces, it takes way too long for it to update from the phone to the watch. You’Re not going to be changing. The watch face very often and that’s really again that’s the only thing that you can do: it’s just excruciatingly slow.

I think it’s even too slow for a twenty dollar watch. Number nine is limited. Fitness tracking. You are limited by the lack of gps as well as not having any fitness modes it’s going to track your heart rate, steps and distance. Although with no gps, you, you know how how accurate can that really be, but there are no custom fitness programs, like you, find not only on the apple watch but on many other dedicated fitness trackers. So so far, those are my biggest complaints, which i mean honestly for 20, those really aren’t bad complaints and again going to sound a little bit like a broken record. It doesn’t take away from the usefulness that most people are going to have for this watch. So the one thing for me that is almost a must that they need to change, is that i i can’t see who the messages are from, and i just find that very annoying. So what do i really think so far about the wise watch, i mean: what do i, what i really like about it battery life so so far it has been pretty good. I got about seven and a half days on a charge and that’s continuous wear. I get a lot of notifications, lots of emails, lots of text messages and to help with me being able to read it. I’Ve turned the brightness all the way up and i still got almost eight days of the advertised nine.

So, for that i say good job, wise sleep tracking. Now this is something that i saw several complaints about, but so far my watch has not missed data from a single night that i’ve been wearing it. I have seen some people out there that say they aren’t getting any sleep tracking, but so far mine has been good notification. Speed notifications are just as fast on my apple watch as they are on the wise watch. I and really reading them on the wise watch is faster since they immediately pop up on the display. So when you get the notification you know you know, the display is not waking up or brightening up it’s. Just the message is already there now another complaint that i’ve heard is about the haptic notification being too weak that the vibration is just too weak to feel. I don’t really feel much of a difference between the wise watch and the apple watch, maybe just slightly more feedback on the apple watch, but i haven’t, i haven’t, missed any notifications on the wise watch, while i’ve been wearing it and i’ve been wearing normally throughout this I’Ve been wearing the apple watch on my left and the wise watch on my right and most of the time i feel them both. Sometimes the notification on the the wise watch is first sometimes it’s on the apple watch, but they’re i mean literally they’re within milliseconds of each other. Now i didn’t want to make this too long so let’s get to my : can this 20 watch replace snap watch? Yes, and not really for 20, you just aren’t getting much, but you are getting what most people need a watch like this.

For now i could definitely live with this as a replacement for my apple watch with how i generally use my watch when wearing this. Instead of my apple watch, i found myself doing the same things that i did while wearing the apple watch. If i got a notification and it’s something that i wanted to read, then i would pick up my phone and read it very rarely. Do i try to read messages on my on my my watch now i’ll read text messages on my watch, but if it’s an email i want to read it i’m, going to open up my phone and look at it. If i got a phone call i wanted to take, i would answer on my phone and, if i didn’t want to take it, i would reject it on my watch and that’s all the same habits that i have with the apple watch. So there’s. Really it really hasn’t affected what i do day to day with a watch only thing that i really found myself missing was the fitness functions of the apple watch. I would still pick it up for the fitness features during my workout now i would wear them both during workouts, but i was only pretty much only using the apple watch because of the custom fitness modes. But again i can overlook some of the shortcomings to get the battery life that the wise watch has now as far as how it looks well, i’ve been wearing them.

Both i have been asked more than once, while i’m wearing two apple watches. So if you just you, know glance at it, you wouldn’t even know the difference. So if you’re, only looking for a watch to get notifications and to see who is calling this 20 wise watch is definitely up to that task. But, of course, it’s not going to replace everything on an apple watch, it can’t do everything that an apple watch can do so.nW2VxC0ylcg
