The Fossil Gen 5 is one of the best smartwatches I have used. It is a lightweight and stylish smartwatch. It is rocking the snapdragon 3100, with 1GB of ram that really helps Wear OS runs smoothly. It also has 8gb of internal storage that is great for downloading plenty of apps and songs. In the video I do a Fossil Gen 5 vs Fossil sport comparison since that’s the watch I am upgrading from.
After owing the fossil Gen 5 for 2 months, the Gen 5 has kept up its fast performance, but there are a few things that need improvement. Like the battery can be better and the speaker when making calls needs to be fixed. What’s cool is that you can take calls on the fossil gen 5 when connected to an iPhone. The compatibility with iPhone will certainly be a plus if you plan to use this with your iPhone. This is the first android wear watch to allow you to make phone calls with an iPhone.
In my experience, the Fossil Gen 5 is worth it. The fossil gen 5 is a great competitor set at an affordable price compared to other premium smartwatches on the market.
