Can i take a call through this ?
how long on one battery charge when you do some hike for example with route tracking on ?
Try the heart rate on the inside of your wrist,it should have a much better reading. Thanks
My fossil Q is very UNDERSENSITIVE for step tracking. I Want a good pedometer!
only kiddo need watch with speaker. funny.
Funny that you spend a minute and a half on the bands, and then you say, "First of all…"
I was debating between Samsung Galaxy watch, Apple watch and TicWatch but I am now leaning towards Fossil Sport (4th Gen). They all have pros and cons but I think the Fossil Sport (4th Gen) fits the majority of my needs and wants.
This isn't a 'Gen 4' Fossil watch, those are the Venture and the Explorist, both of which have 2100 processors, this is a new line of watch that had the 3100. Saying Gen 4 implies that it's a direct relation/equivalent, which it isn't.
Does the watch have a speaker on it tho?
Does the watch have a speaker?
Does it support Call function and giving replay to message from the watch
43mm probably looks better on most guys though, try it in a shop.
Can you answer calls and text message
How often do I need to keep this connected to the phone?
that watch looks so confusing with the black metal strap ?
it looks a bit laggy isnt't it ?
Is that reliable enough to propper cycling performance tracking ? Like a garmin or other sport watches
I don't think I'd use my smart watch as an alarm but this is a good point when talking to Google assistant. I don't want to read it, I want it to speak to me. I think I can live without it.
Loved this video. If you want to see more about this watch, I'd love if you give mine a look too and let me know what you think. https://youtu.be/8ra5_VwKfq0
Where can I buy one? The link you provided are for bands. Is there a model number so I can comfirm I'm getting the Q Sport and not another one like the 4th gen Q that uses the old 2100 processor that is not as power efficient.
I had the Fossil Gen 4 silver and was very pleased. Until I broke it?. It had everything. Now that my wife and I seen this model we will be looking into this one.
I've heard a few complaints from reviewers that it's really laggy and battery is awful. What's your opinion on this considering you've had the smart watch a short while

Great review! Thanks!
I've never had a smartwatch before. I've had a Garmin running watch in the past and like keeping track of running that way. How does this do with keeping track of runs with the GPS? Does the Google Fit map your runs and give the pace information while you are running or riding a bicycle?
Nice review. I have a couple of questions. When you were doing a workout were you wearing a cheststrap or Bluetooth armband to see if the Fossil matched those results? It sounds like you were referring only to a resting heart rate in the video. Also, does Google Fit show what Heart Rate zones you were in after a workout, or is it just a general heart rate graph? Thanks.
Great review… I have a WearOS watch with the Snapdragon 2100 and it takes a good 2-3 seconds for the screen to come on when I turn my wrist to look at it. How do you find the speed of the watch turning on to be?
this is a watch review. Next time please show real watchfaces.
How would you rate this for someone with a Samsung Galaxy S8? I've been looking at the Galaxy Watches but I found this one and I'm in love with the physical look! How is WearOS when paired with an S8? My only concern is the software experience. I'm not super attached to using the Samsung default/1st party apps.
Heart rate monitor 1 or 2 beats different because… your heart rate is changing. Not a big deal because it's not a flaw.
Had to take my new Fossil sport Smartwatch back to a Fossil store in London after 1 week. It was brought as a birthday present from the New York pop up store & now Fossil have both my watch & my wife's money & the watch is no longer listed on any of their websites. Been offered a lower spec & value watch as a replacement after being told twice that they would have a replacement to me in 5 to 7 days. Still no watch & $277 out of pocket. Still waiting
Finally I got mine. I had to order from France to a friend's house, since it will not be available in Spain till april. I chose the 43mm in black. I really love it. Good battery life, beautiful design and accurate gps. Really happy with that. I had 2 previous android watches (sony and moto sport) and their gps had bad accuracy, and it took too much time to get a gps lock. With this watch it takes 1 minute or even less. Ok, it is not like a garmin forerunner, but really happy with that. In the review is said about the pedometer, in my watch was more or less the same steps that my forerunner counted, so I think it counts them ok.
If I have to say a bad thing, is that I would like it not to have a black bezel, but nothing too bad.
The only thing I want to try is its behaviour using swim.com to track my swimming activities, but I expect it to work good enough.
Happy with the choice!
Edit: Finally I did my first activity using the swim.com app, and now I can say I am completely satisfied with the watch. Ok, the app added a pool, not sure what's the reason (not a big deal, 1 pool from 80 pools is an acceptable error rate), and not always detects the style correctly, but very very satisfied, as with all the watch. I will wait for google to add the swimming activity to the big variety of them that they have at google fit, to check if this one works better.
Just an advice. For men, I would really choose the 43mm, my wrist is not thick, I don't like big watches, and the 43mm's watch and swatchband size are simply perfect for my taste.
Looks like, the same that happened in USA, now it is out of stock in Europe as well. Happy having make the order so fast!
Plssss i need ur help, which shud i buy n why, galaxy watch or gen4 fossil
M so confused
Galaxy cost 423 dollar n fossil cost 282 dollar in my country
You should have reviewed the watch with the official fossil straps included. Your choice doesn't match the style of the watch in my opinion. Otherwise great review thanks
Good review! Would you recommend it over the Samsung gear sport?
Does this watch have an "always on display" for the heart rate monitor?
