I've had my Gen 5 for about 5 weeks now? Works flawlessly. I just hope they fix the speaker with the promised update by Oct 15.

Reddit is full post with photos with hardware problems for GEN 4 and GEN 5 like rust on pin and charger, fallen rings at the back, separation of case you can see the glue.

These black ring bezels are clown like… I’d much prefer the screen go to the edge of the frame and have a small flat tire at the bottom rather than this full tire all the way around
I love WearOS. Wish battery life was better. I found TicWatch to be the best in that category.
The negativity this person shows towards Wear OS is disappointing. Rather than review it he manages to take 3 or 4 digs at it.
