DT NO1 –
DESCRIPTION:
NOTE: This is an update video after a firmware update to the DT28 smartwatch. The ECG readings appear to be simulated, complete with a standard, unchanging heart wave chart. Buyer beware!
Here is what was posted under the original review:
This is a prototype of a futuristic health/fitness smartwatch coming out soon from DTNo.1. It’s the first time this company has introduced ECG functions in a smartwatch, and they are needing to rebuild their support app to handle the heart wave data transfer. A production unit is on order from Gearbest to do a followup video showing the ECG in action.
This smartwatch also takes PPG readings to computer heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen and those values are seamlessly transferred to the current version of the DTNO.1 app. For the fitness aspect, in addition to step count and multi-mode workouts, the watch includes air pressure, altitude, and current UV conditions (derived from city location information and transferred from Internet interface through your phone via the tethering app to your watch). You have updated weather as well making this a well rounded smartwatch. With optional TPU or metal detachable bands, you can choose a sports or dress/business look to your watch when you order.
Important Notices for Heart Monitoring Devices –
BIOMETRIC MEASUREMENT WARNING: This device claims to produce and evaluate heart wave ECG data. The accuracy of the readings HAVE NOT BEEN VERIFIED and MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. As such, you are advised to proceed with caution and to *NOT* rely upon readings from this or any similar devices for making decisions regarding your medical condition or health. Fitness/Health watches/bands offering biometric measurements such as heart rate, Blood Pressure, blood oxygen, fatigue, breath rate, etc., should be considered supplemental to seeking true and accurate readings taken under optimal conditions by trained professionals using accurate, calibrated equipment. If you feel concerned about your health, do not self-diagnose, especially from using inexpensive, uncalibrated non-medical wearable devices such as this one. Seek proper medical advice. Enjoy your new toy, but remember, it is a toy.

The funny thing with all this is that I had purchased and subsequently returned two N58 watches which I had purchased through Amazon. I liked the watch functions but in both cases one of the horns that the wristband's pins clipped into broke so after watching your first video I purchased this watch from Banggood because I liked the fact that it had a metal case and therefore seemed less apt to break. Also it wasn't as expensive. Guess I'm stuck with it. I even have some questions about the accuracy of the other functions.
Hi, Did you get any response from No.1 ? I have ordered one before this review was done, and waiting gor the watch to be delivered. 🙁
Gd Review… ?
Thanks for this informative video. Too bad I've already bought one but after this, I will not look at my so called smartwatch the same again. But hey, for the cheap price, what I pay is what I got. After this, I will need to wait to see if a smartwatch is reliable or not. Keep it up man. You rock!
Its Theranos on your wrist… Lol, thanks for posting this!
What’s the name of the second watch?
Oh, and there is no ill will towards you in this matter. How would you ever be expected know that the watch you are reviewing is intentionally set up to lie to you??? Thank you for your honesty and integrity.
Yeah, I wondered about that as well. Never would have imagined that it was a completly faked waveform. I'll say it. That is a known scam by No. 1. There is absolutely no way someone could have "accidentally" coded a graphic to appear when the watch detects a touch on the screen, then "accidentally" coded the watch to transmit data of some kind to the app to tell the app to "accidentally" display a waveform that "coincidentally" isn't a representation of any sensor data at all. No, this is blatant fraud. I get that it's not for actual diagnostics, but if my car passes emissions testing because the manufacturer coded the vehicle to falsify emissions output, the manufacturer is still legally liable for the fraud. Ask VW and Fiat! Whether it's a $30 watch of a $30k car, fraud is never ok. I'm really getting a bad taste in my mouth for Chinese companies. That said, it is actually just a dumb waterproof watch with a decent display and the ability to alert you to incoming calls and texts. All the other functions are either wildly inaccurate or just plain lies. So, for $30, it wasn't a great deal but not a total waste of money either. That is not to say I would ever buy anything fron these scam artists again.
Huge international conglomerates like Volkswagen are willing to cheat just for a little more profit. At the expense of everyone's health, and our environment. If they are doing it, what will the little guys say.
Thank you so much!
With so many models coming out all the time, we really need someone clever, astute, and honest to give us his hands on opinion. You have shown to be that person!
I bought this thing after watching your first video and I think I lost my money purchasing a fake ecg watch. I going to initiate return for this junk.
When you buy an Apple Watch you pay way more but you know it was approved by the FDA as a medical device …. you'll NEVER get that from a cheap Chinese watch, they're all crap and you're throwing your money away if you buy one
Unless ECG/EKG sensor is approved by the appropriate agencies, those are fakes. Apple and Omron(makers of bp devices) still have pending certification.
Shame I have one just for the ECG as soon as I saw your review but thanks for the update, I just wouldn't have thought a company in 2019 would lie and potently put peoples lives at risk especially if they have a heart condition and got this watch for that function
Great video, u da man. Lying bastards…
Which smart watch gives accurate ECG and Heat Rate monitor Sir.. please answer Me.. Tq
What About N58 Sir.. please check and publish the video.
Although your channel supports by DT No. 1 but you still Honest with their products. Nice
You have to touch the metal part of the body.
Fuck I just bought this watch. Thanks you
I’ve got it on pre-order phase and I’m very disappointed. Besides this ECG cheating, mine also charged a couple of times and then completely died!
Thank you for the informative reviews, scary for those using that watch that can get 'ECG from a tissue', ?.
It's a scam, pretty simple really.
