I personally prefer the look of the Withings Steel, Steel HR. Though Withings doesn't have the second hand I find it more stylish.
From those "apps" this watch supports notifications from… I barely use one. That's Facebook, but even that not very often. I'd prefer a eINK display in place of that top dial. Maybe they have other models too.
Fossil Q series have had this kind of functionality for a long time now. You assign different hours to either apps or contacts, and both hands go to that number upon receiving a notification. For example: if my girlfriend texts or calls me, the watch vibrates, and both hands go to the number twelve. I have the Fossil Q Crewmaster. Also, look at the Fossil Q Commuter.
Incidentally, for do not disturb, set it on your phone, and your watch won’t vibrate. At least that’s what I do with my iPhone. I have my phone set to do not disturb automatically during certain hours. During those hours my Fossil Watch doesn’t vibrate either.
If that dial would be an e-paper with customization of icons, it would be perfect.
Thank you exactly what I was looking for.
If you wanted to stop notifications, could you not just use that third button to cut the connection to the device? Great video all round though!
The app definitely needs more work.
Thanks for the review but for fitness tracking I'll stick with my Amazfit Bip.
