The perfect smartwatch for watch enthusiasts? Kronaby Apex 43mm Watch Review + Unboxing
Smartwatch capabilities, but with the build quality and looks of a traditional watch – and a great one at that. And the battery life? 2. Whole. Years.
I was very excited to get my hands on the Kronaby Apex, as it finally looked to offer what I wanted, smartwatch functionality without the screen. Let’s check it out.

Too big. Looks like 8yo wearing his father's watch.
Also, buttons protruding too much. Not elegant, like a pocket chrono.
I bought the Kronaby 43mm after happily using a LG Urbane for three years which filled my needs exactly until recently when my requirements to read the message and various alerts from my wrist "immediately" had reduced somewhat (I retired early….). My built in geekyness of technology was such that I wanted a watch that looked like a regular timepiece but I still wanted to be aware of the alerts sent to my cell phone without the added distraction that the Android wear OS brought. At the time of writing I have had the Kronaby Apex 43mm for a little over a week and I can truthfully say I feel a lot less stressed when I get an alert as they are now catagorised into levels of importance on the Kronaby. I now have my cell phone on fully silenced mode (not even vibrate), I realise that we are not all at the same level or requirement with regards to the "wearable technonlogies" however if you are looking for an attractive timepiece with additional smart functionality you have no need to look any further than Kronaby.
I had checked this out previously and am interested. Appreciate your thoughts!
