The E is frickin amazing. I was skeptical at first because of the price but after using it for a couple weeks, it's hard to imagine life without it lol.
I bought a slew of watchbands with it to make it look nicer, like a ventilated two-tone sport band and brown leather. The display itself is awesome. I get well over 24h battery on a single charge, and thats using it regularly texting/apps with brightness at 4.
More dislikes than likes
I think Im about to buy this thing, but I just want to know if its compatible with iPhone and if the watch loses any functions. Can it open / show pictures from your phone aswell?
Plz answer
Thanks
Good honest review??
I concur with what you say about all the bugs on this watch. Really wish there was a software update just to make sure all the core features actually worked properly. I find myself having to reset the phone too often in order to get it working properly. Disagree with your beef about the charger, though. It's not bulky at all and having a slim magnetic charger is fantastic for travel versus having to carry a dock around. In my opinion this is one of the better charging solutions on any smartwatch.
Not an honest review – rather a rant!
I have a Ticwatch E too, and i agree with this review. The software of Wear OS is not perfect yet. The Assistant does not answer that much questions (you can't add an event to your agenda for example), and some features you would expect are missing. My battery lasted in the beginning not even a full day at all. Right now, with some settings turned off, it lasts just a day. If you want to let the watch look more stylish, choose the black version and buy a custom watchband! That's what I did, and to be honest, now it looks really cool though. Do I recommend to buy? Yes, but note Android Wear is new and it's not perfect yet.
On the contrary, I don't thimk this watch looks bad, at least not the black version. I considered getting the white version for my grandmother, but decided against it after seeing this video; how the white version looks on the store page vs in video, is far less appealing after seeing it on video. The watch is snappy for a cheap af android wear device, the OHR is decent, GPS works more than well enough, band is snug and comfortable, it's surprisingly not bulky, at least compared to other watches I've had on my arm, I don't have any sync issues, only thing I've noticed, is an occasional restart when it gets toasty, and that usually happens because I'm in a hot area.
Is a must buy for Amazon deal day for $108?
Does this watch have speech to text? I can't seem to find this information on any reviews
To be fair, you did order the most "toylike" color option.
Sold my ticwatch 2 to buy this one. Love it and don't have any issues. Very comfortable and although bulky it's very light.
LMAO, you are the man, honest review rules
Wish I watched this before I order mine it's on the way wish I could cancel now haha
Watch isn't big enough babies with there girly wrist.Does the guy not get what a review is this is nothing but bitching.
I completely agree with this review. The watch is hideous looking. It looks like a prototype. Huge and bulky. All the issues you cited, I encountered. So why did I get it? Price and Android Wear. I didn't want to spend more and this watch "fit the bill" for the basic stuff I needed. But given a different choice, I would have gone with something less gigantic/prototype looking.
How does the Ticwatch E compare to the Fitbit Versa?
This or a Gear S2?
Would it fit on a 13 year old kids wrist?
I want to have that!
